Some Windows users have complained on the forum about an error message they see when they try to access a variety of applications on their computers. If you also see "A problem prevented the program from working correctlyWhen trying to start an application, look for these simple solutions.

Solution 1: run in compatibility mode

Running the application with the correct compatibility settings should fix this problem.

1. Go to the application path.



2. So, you need the right mouse button in the app, then click "Property".

3. Once Properties window appears on the screen, click the "CompatibilityEyelash ".

4. After that, you should check the option "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"

5. Then click on the drop-down menu.

Fix - 2 Update graphics driver

1. Press Tasto Windows + S. Start typing "cmd“In the search box.

3. When the CMD terminal is displayed, generally this code and press Log in to disable data execution prevention.

Reboot the system and after reboot check if the application is working or not.

As we have explained in detail, DEP protects your system files from junk programs, viruses, etc. Disabling it is not recommended at all.

After testing the solution on your computer, you need to reset DEP to 'In'.

1. Open the CMD terminal following the previous step.

2. Next, run this code in the terminal to activate DEP.

bcdedit.exe / set {current} nx AlwaysOn

You will see that “Successfully completed operation has appeared” in the terminal.
Close the terminal e start again your computer.
