Some Windows 10 users complain about an error they are facing Microsoft Edge where are they getting?Hmm, we can't get to this page'when they try to access a web page. If you eventually encounter the same error then follow the fixes in this article and the problem will be resolved very quickly. But before trying these solutions, try these simpler workarounds:

Alternative solutions-

1. Check if the network connection is working or not. Try browsing any other page in the Edge browser or using any other browser.



2. Try to check for pending updates for Microsoft Edge or not.

If any of these solutions didn't work, look for these solutions:

Fix-1 Usa Google DNS-

1. At first, you need to click on the box that says "Type here to search 'and then type"Network connections".

2. Then click on "Network connections".

3 inch Network Connections You will see many network connections available on your computer.

Four. The right mouse button on your network card and then click "Property".

5. In the WiFi Properties window, scroll down and double click in "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4)".

6. Then click to choose "Use the following DNS server addresses:"And then edit the DNS Server file As mentioned below-

Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
Alternative DNS server: 8.8.4.4

7. Now click on "ok“To save the changes on your computer.


Close Window Network Connections.

Close Microsoft Edge window and then reopen it on your computer. Check if you are still encountering the error on your computer.


Fix-2 Disable IPv6 settings

1. Press Tasto Windows + R have lunch run window on your computer.

2. In the Run window, type this command and then press Log in.

3. In the Network Connections window, the right mouse button on your network card and then click "Property".

4. Now what you need to do is deselect the "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP / IPv6)"And then click"ok".

Restart your computer to save the changes. After restarting, open the Browser Edge file and try searching for something. Your problem should be solved.

Solution 3: change your WiFi network profile

Change the network profile from public to private. Most of the time it worked for users.

1. Press Tasto Windows + R have lunch run window on your computer. Copy paste this command and press Log in.

2. Just click on the WiFi you are using.

3. Change the network profile to "Private"Yes this is"Public” or vice versa.

Close window settings. Check if you can access any web page with Edge.

Fix-3 Edit registry to change network profile-

1. By pressing Tasto Windows + R the key can open the file run window.


2. In the Run window, you need to type "regedit"And then click"ok".


3. Once the Registry Editor window opens, click on “archive"And then click"Export“To create a backup copy of the registry on your computer.

3. You need to name the backup as "Original registration".

4. Then click on "Save“To save the backup on your computer.

5. Now in the Registry Editor window, go to this location-

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows NT CurrentVersion NetworkList Profiles


6. Now in the left pane, you will see many keys listed under 'Profiles'. Click on the first of these buttons and on the right hand side of the Registry Editor window, look at the "Description"Of the key. Check if it is the network you are using or not.

If not, go to the next key in the left panel and check again.

7. Repeat until you see the name of your Internet connection in the "Description".

(Example- For us, in the last button in the left panel we found the correct network that our team is currently using).

8. Now, double click in "Category".

9. Now, if the Value data file is set for "1"Change to"0". Otherwise, if it is set to "0“, Change it in”1".
"0“Means 'Public'.
"1“Indicates 'Private'.

10. Click on 'ok“To save the changes on your computer.

Restart your computer to save the changes. After reboot, check if you still have the problem with Edge or not. Your problem should be solved.

In case the network profile is not changed, follow these steps instead:

An alternative approach to editing Ethernet network profiles -

1. Press Tasto Windows + R have lunch run window on your computer. Copy paste this command and press Enters.

ms-settings: network-ethernet

2. Click "Ethernet" on his left hand side and then click "EthernetWhich one are you currently using.

3. Change the network profile to "Private"Yes this is"Public” or vice versa.

Close window settings. The edge browser should work correctly again. Your problem should be solved.
