To find the correct driver compatible with your laptop, the first step is to find the correct model number of your laptop and then you can download the corresponding driver from the manufacturer's website. All laptop manufacturers provide relevant drivers for your laptop.

Step 1: Find the model number (Example: dell inspiron 4457, hp pavilion x360, etc.) or the serial number of your laptop. The model number is written on the back of the laptop on a label or you can find the model number written on the battery compartment of the laptop. You can also find the model number via the command prompt.

Step 2: Now, download the corresponding driver from the driver download pages of different manufacturers.

Below are some popular laptop manufacturers and their driver resource pages.

Step 3: Finally install the driver on your system.

Alternative method: Find the relevant driver via Device Manager

Step 1: Press Windows + X and click Device Manager to open Device Manager.

Step 2: Now, double click on the name of the driver you want to download.

Step 3: Click details language.

Step 4: Now choose Hardware identification from the properties drop-down menu.

Step 5: Now, right click and copy the top hardware ID.

Step 6: Now, do a Google search like hardware identification windows 10.

For example, if my hardware ID in this case is PCI VEN_8086 and DEV_0153 and SUBSYS_05891028.

So, I'll do a Google search like PCI VEN_8086 and DEV_0153 and SUBSYS_05891028 Windows 10

This way I can find the corresponding driver download link on Google.
