Windows Store It caters to a wide variety of paid and free applications for Windows 10. However, downloading an application can sometimes generate some errors. One of the most important error codes is Error code: 0x80240024. We have discussed a very simple solution to this error.

Alternative solutions / prerequisites

1. Check for Windows Updates - Your device accepts critical updates from Windows Update. Go this way to check for windows update pending or not.



Settings> Update and security> Windows Update> Check for updates

2. Disable proxy servers if you are using them. Try installing / updating applications now.

Solution 1: Try the Store Apps Troubleshooter

One of the solutions also involves using the Troubleshooter of the Store app to detect and improve it.

1. Close “App Store".

2. Then click on "Find and fix problems with Windows Store apps".

3. Follow the instructions on the Windows Store App window.

4. Click on 'The next".

After you have identified and fixed the problems with the Application Store file, close the troubleshooter.

Restart your PC if necessary.

After rebooting, try installing the problematic apps one more time.

Solution 2: Check the time and time zone

Another solution to this problem is the discrepancy between the time and the time zone of the computer.

1. At first, click on the Windows icon to enter the search box. Gender "Change date and time".

2. Next, you need to click on "Change date and time".


3. Low Current date and time configuration, just set the "Set the time automatically" for "off".


4. Immediately below, activate or deactivate "Automatically set the time zone" for "off".

Solution 4: Pause all current downloads from the Windows Store

3. Just click on "Pause everything".

Close the Shop window. Wait a moment. Then open Store to set up and resume all downloads.


Solution 5: Check if your region is correct

Sometimes some applications are not installed on the device if the computer is in the wrong region.

1. Press Tasto Windows + I.

As soon as you click on “wsreset.exe” in the search result with elevated privileges, a terminal will open.

Simply start again the computer and retry the installation.

Solution 6: reinstall the Windows Store

Sometimes Windows Store itself becomes damaged. Reinstalling will give the Store a fresh start.

1. Right click on the Windows icon and then click on "PowerShell (administrator)“To access it.

2. When the Shell Power file with administrative access opens, copy and paste this code.
