Some Windows 10 users encounter a problem trying to connect to the internet but are denied access with an error message that says “INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND” in the browser. This particular problem mainly occurs in the Microsoft Edge browser. There are no particular reasons for this problem. If you are facing the same problem on your part, don't worry. There are fixes to address this problem. Follow them and you can browse the web again at Edge. But before proceeding, don't forget to try these solutions to check some necessary peripherals.

Alternative solutions-

1. Check if there are any problems with the Internet connection. Try surfing the Internet with another browser.

2. If this problem occurs for the first time, Take up again your device. After restarting, try browsing with the Browser Edge again.

3. Temporarily disable antivirus and firewall on your computer. Now try to browse using the Edge browser again.

If any of these solutions didn't work for you, look for these solutions:

Fix-1 Abilita TCP Fast Open-

1. At first, you need to open Microsoft Edge on your computer.

2. Now type "up: flags“In the search box for Microsoft Edge browser and press Pay in.

3. Scroll down to search for "Enable TCP Quick Open"Under the Network section and click the drop down menu and select"Always off".

[NOTES– If you can’t find “Enable TCP Fast Open“, press Ctrl + Shift + D]

4. Now close the Browser Edge.

Restart your device. Open Browser Edge again and you should never encounter the same error again.

Fix-2 Update the WiFi network driver

1. At first, you need to press Tasto Windows + S and then write "Device administrator".

2. Now click on "all right“To open the Device Administrator.

3. In the Device Administrator window, search for "Network adapters”In the list of devices installed on your computer.

4. Now, all you need to do is the right mouse button on it and click "Update Driver".

3. In the next step, click on this “Automatically searches for updated driver software”Option to continue.

You have to wait for Windows to install the latest version.

Close the Device Administrator window. After, start again your computer.
Try using Edge browser again.

Fix-3 Prova InPrivate Browsing-

1. Open Microsoft Edge browser on your computer by typing "Board“In the search box next to the Windows icon and clicking” Microsoft Edge “.

2. Now press Ctrl + Shift + P to start an InPrivate browsing session. A new window will open.

4. Try connecting to the network now.

If you see the “inet_e_resource_not_found” error in the Edge browser again, look for the next solution.

Fix-4 Clear DNS and Reset Netsh-

Windows generally caches data from website DNS servers. If the IP of the public WiFi login page has changed recently, you may encounter this error. To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

1. By pressing Windows key and the 'R'the key will open the Running window.

2. In this Run window, paste this command and press Ctlr + Shift + Enter.


3. To free, clear DNS and rebuild, copy and paste these three commands and press Pay in after gluing each of them.

ipconfig / release ipconfig / flushdns ipconfig / renew

Wait a few minutes for the process to complete.

4. As before, copy Yup paste these commands one by one in the window system symbol and knock Pay in after each of them to perform them.

ipconfig /flushdns nbtstat –r netsh int ip reset netsh winsock reset

Wait a few minutes for the process to complete.

Restart your computer. After rebooting, check if you are still having the problem on your computer.

Fix-5 Uninstall and reinstall the WiFi driver

Uninstalling and reinstalling the WiFi driver can fix the problem.

If restarting your computer did not install the driver, you need to install the driver yourself. Follow to install the driver manually-

1. In the DServices Manager window, click "Action". Click again on "Check for hardware changes".

2. This will find the uninstalled driver and install it again.

Close the Device Administrator window. Take up again computer to save the changes.

Fix-6 Rename Connections folder-

1. To open the Registry Editor, write "regedit“In the search box.

2. Now click on "Registry Editor“In the search results.


You need to create a registry backup on your computer.

After opening the Registry Editor window, click on "archive"And then click"Export". Save the exported log in a favorable location of your choice for backup.

3. Now go to this location in the Registry Editor.

Close the Registry Editor window. Restart your computer.

Fix-7 Uninstall Microsoft Edge-

2. Now, in the “Attributes” option, uncheck “Read-only (Only applies to files in hidden)“. Click on “Apply"And"OK".



Now, delete all the contents of “Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe” folder.]

6. Now press Tasto Windows + R have lunch Run and write "shell power“And press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.

7. Now, just copy Yup paste this next command in Power of the window shell and knock Pay in to run it.

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)AppXManifest.xml" –Verbose}

8. Now reinstall the edge browser on your device. Restart computer to save the changes.
You should no longer face problems with Microsoft Edge.
