Method 1: Change via PC settings

Click on Current “Date and Time” in the lower right corner of the screen. This will result in the formation of a large monthly calendar showing the current month. Click on “Date and Time Settings”.

This will open the “Settings” application. The Settings app contains all the major Windows 10 settings and will likely replace the Control Panel in the near future.

In “Date and time settings”, the date and time can only be set when “Set time automatically” is “OFF” and then you can click “Edit” under the heading “Change date and time”.

Changing any date, month and year or time will result in changing the current date and time on your PC / laptop. After entering the desired date and time, click on “Change”. The "date and time" will be changed accordingly.

Method 2: edit them in Control Panel

Go to the Control Panel, click on "Clock, Language and Regional Options".

Under "Clock, language and region", click "Date and time". The “Date and time” configuration window will open.

In the date and time settings window, click "Change date and time"

The “Date and time settings” window will open. Click on the desired date and time and click "OK". It will change the current date and time on your PC / laptop.

Either of the previous methods is possible, as both methods have the same function. The “Settings” application provides a clear mechanism in detail, so it can be preferred over the control panel settings.
