How to download your passwords in Google Chrome. Google has added a feature to download passwords saved on Chrome to a .csv file to simplify the process.

It was impossible download a list of passwords saved in the Chrome browser. Now with a few simple steps, you can get a list of all those passwords to store on your computer.

How to download your passwords

  • Open Chrome and type chrome :/ / flags in the address bar and press Enter.
  • Scroll down to find “Password export”.



Use the drop-down menu to activate it.

  • Restart Chrome by clicking the "Restart Now" button displayed in the lower right corner of the screen.
  • Open Settings (the three dots at the top right and select Settings) and scroll to the bottom of the list to click on the word "Advanced".
  • Find the section “Password e moduli” and click "Manage passwords".



  • Click the three dots at the top of the saved passwords list to open more options.
  • Select Export.
  • click on Export passwords to save passwords in a .csv file.

Done now you can import the list of your passwords in csv format where you see fit or keep them as a reminder in case you forget them or need to type them on other computers or mobile devices.
