How to find directions to an amazing place you've visited in the past

I visited a beautiful beach a few months ago with my friends. Since my friends were driving the car, I didn't bother checking the roads and directions. In any case, I am pathetic when I remember streets and directions.

A few days ago I thought about going back to the beach with my family, without my friends. The only problem, I don't know how to get there. I call my friends and they try to explain the route I should take to get there.

"Turn left from the xyz roundabout", "Keep right, look for an exit", "Keep right, enter another area ..."

In the end it was all chatter for me, so I asked them for the name of the place. My thought was that I would search on my Garmin GPS device or Google maps on my mobile. The names given by my friends did not return results on the Google map.

Dejected, I returned that day.

But I had promised my family to take them to that wonderful beach and I had to find my way.

So I did it.

How to find GPS coordinates in photos

  1. Thanks to the cool mobile phones and their amazing mobile cameras, we click various images everywhere we go.
  2. Thanks to intrusive and spy technology, our cell phones track the places we visit.
  3. I opened the photos I clicked on during my last visit to the beach a few months ago.

Now this is what I did:

  • Right-click on the image, select Properties.

  • Go to the "Details" tab.
  • Scroll down to the "GPS" section.

  • There I found the latitude and longitude of the place. I was in HH; MM; HH Format.
  • To find the place on Google Maps, I entered the latitude and longitude directly.

  • On my GPS device, I entered the coordinates, saved them to Favorites and set them as a new destination.

And here is the original image of the beach (I didn't click it).

PS: Pay close attention to the minutes and seconds you enter into your GPS. We are talking about the latitude and longitude of our beloved land here. Once I entered the seconds part incorrectly and it took me to a different block… 🙂
