To change the router settings, you need to know the IP address of the router. Either to change the SSID password of your WiFi or limit the maximum number of connected devices. Here in this article, I'll tell you several ways to find your router's IP address.

Note: - In most cases, the router's IP address is 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. But, if not, then follow the methods below to quickly determine your router's IP address.



Method 1: using the IPconfig command

1 - Open Symbol of the system.

2 - Now, type the command given below.

ipconfig

3 - The IP address written next to the default gateway in the output is the IP address of the router.

Method 1: using the tracert command

1 - Open Symbol of the system

2 - Now, type the command given below.

tracert www.google.com

3 - The output will contain your file IP address of the router at the first jump.

Method 3: using the Network and Sharing Center

1 - Go to Control Panel


2 - Click view network status and activities


2 - Now, click on your file network connection icon.

3 - No, click details.

4 - Now, pay attention Default gateway in this window. This is the IP address of your router.
