Unfortunately, some of them would have had trouble adjusting their device's brightness. High levels of brightness cause a burning sensation in the eyes. So you have to lower the brightness level. However, you need to get the perfect amount of shine depending on the external conditions. So, if you thought the brightness control was negligible, you are wrong. Most of us spend a lot of time in front of laptops and electronic devices. It is very important to have the correct brightness settings. Otherwise, it will have negative effects on your eyes. If you haven't solved the brightness control issue on your device yet, it's time to do it. This article provides some simple steps to solve this problem.

  • print Windows+x key. Click Device administrator.

  • Click on Display adapters. View a list.

  • The right mouse button in the current controller. Click Update the driver software.

  • You have a couple of options. Click on the first option - Automatically searches for updated driver software.

Windows will choose the appropriate driver for your device and install it. However, if you are having trouble, it means that the manufacturer hasn't delivered any updates yet. Do not worry. There is a way out.


First, follow the same steps as above.

  • print Windows+x key. Click Device administrator.
  • Click on Display adapters. View a list.
  • The right mouse button in the current controller. Click Update the driver software.

Now choose the second option.


  • Click on Look for the driver software on my computer.

  • Then click Let me choose from a list of drivers on my computer.


  • Bottom Show compatible hardwareclick your Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. Click The next.

Windows will install the appropriate driver. This will solve your problem.

Moving forward, you would have run into the problem: the brightness control slider was missing. Another problem is that the hotkeys for the brightness control were not working correctly. While installing updates from AMD, the brightness could not be controlled. The same solution applies to all of these problems.
