The steps involved in this process are quite simple:

Step 1: Open To paint application in Windows. Now open the specific image in Paint.

Step 2: Now, at the top left of the Paint interface, go to File> Save As. The Save As window will open. Here, from Save as type: drop-down menu and select the appropriate image format as mentioned above.

After saving the image in another format, open it in the Photos app, make any desired changes, and try to save it. You can save the image without errors.

Solution 6: Use the Save a Copy feature in the Photos app
