The Windows Task Manager is a powerful system utility tool that allows you to take control of the processes running on your PC and also provides valuable information about the available CPU and RAM resources. And it made the leap to Windows 11, where it's easy to access like never before.

Read on as we list the different ways you can start Windows Task Manager on the new Windows 11.

Launch Task Manager via the Start menu

  • Find the menu icon Home on the taskbar (look for the Windows logo icon).
  • Right-click on the icon Home and a context menu will appear.
  • Finally, click Task Manager.

Using Windows Run

If you are a technical user and want to run Task Manager with a command instead, you can use the Run window:

Using the keyboard shortcut

  • Type the following command, hit enter and Task Manager will start immediately.
