Some Windows 10 users are complaining about a particular problem they are facing Application Photos. On problem computers, double clicking on a photo, instead of showing the image, displays an error called "TWINUI“It is shown. If you find yourself in the same situation then choose these solutions and the problem will be solved quite easily. You should also try these workarounds to try some workarounds and see if they offer easier help with this problem.



Initial workarounds-

1. Restart your computer. After rebooting, try opening any image on your computer.

2. Check whether Windows update is pending or not. If an update is pending, install it on your computer.

3. Update all applications from the Microsoft Store.

If the problem persists, follow these solutions

Fix-1 Usa Powershell-

1. Press Windows key + X.

2. Next, you need to click on "Windows PowerShell (administrator)“To start a terminal PowerShell with administrative rights.

2. copy this command and paste in PowerShell window and then press enter.

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)AppXManifest.xml”}

After running the command on your computer, close the Powershell window.

Double-click on any image to open it. Check if you are still facing the error or not.

Fix-2 Empty Local Status Folder-

Emptying the Local State Folder file solved this problem for many users. Follow these steps to do the same on your computer:

1. By pressing Tasto Windows + R you can start the Run window.

2. To open this folder location, copy paste in the Run window and press enter.



%appdata%..LocalPackagesMicrosoft.Windows.Photos_8wekyb3d8bbweLocalState

The LocalState will open the folder.

3. In the LocalState folder, press Ctrl +A to select all items.

4. Now, press the "Delete'from the keyboard to delete all these contents.

Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

After the reboot, you should be able to open the images on your computer without further problems. TWINUI problem should be solved.
