Group Policy Settings Control some administrative and non-administrative account settings on your computer. In a simpler sense, it distinguishes between the rights a particular account will enjoy depending on the type of account.

In case you want to reset Local Group Policy your computer settings run these commands and the policy settings will be restored in no time.

Reset Local Group Policy Settings in Windows 10-

Follow these steps-


1. Digita “cmd“In the search box in the lower left corner of the screen.


2. Once the command prompt appears on the screen, the right mouse button on it and choose "Run as administrator".

3. To remove all active group policies on the computer, copy paste these codes and hit Log in after each of the commands.

RD /S /Q "%WinDir%System32GroupPolicy" RD /S /Q "%WinDir%System32GroupPolicyUsers" gpupdate /force



After running these commands, close the Window System Symbol file.

Restart your computer.

That's all! All local group policy settings will be reset to their default settings.
