For those who aren't sure what a user account picture is in the Windows OS, this is the same picture you see on the login screen and also in the boot menu. People keep changing from time to time for multiple reasons. Some users set their own image, while others prefer cartoons, flowers or symbols. But how cool it will be if you set a video as your user account image. If you blink or make funny gestures, welcome someone trying to log into your PC. Everyone knows how to change the user account picture, but very few know that it is possible in Windows 10 to set a video as a user account picture. Now let's try to figure out how to do it.
Step 1 - Click on the home screen and then click on the picture of your user account. When you click on the account picture, a menu will appear. Click on change your account settings.
Step 2 - Now, once the account picture settings panel opens, click camera just below, create your image.
3 pass - Now once the PC webcam is open, click the video icon to choose the video recording and then click the video icon again to start recording the video from the PC camera. Record anything you want to record, then click the video icon again to stop recording the clip.
4 pass - Finally, click OK as shown in the screenshot below.
You are ready. Now this seconds-long clip is set as your account image in Windows. Now you can use it yourself in the video and you can set welcome gestures or weird and scary acts to make the user account video interesting.
Note that this video will be static in the main menu (only the video thumbnail will be displayed). The video will only be fully functional on the login screen.
