We use all bullets in Word when trying to write a document by highlighting the bullets. Usually the shape of the bullet is a circle. Instead of this circle that we always use, we can set the images we like as bullets. With the help of this function, we can set context-specific bullets. If you are writing a document on Computer, you can insert a computer image as a bullet and make it more attractive. In addition to images, you can also use the symbols available in Word as bullets. Read the steps below to find out how:

  • Open the Word document you want to make changes to.
  • In Home card, you can detect Paragraph option. Click on drop-down icon in the bullets icon.

At the bottom, you can see an option. Define new bullet. Click on it.

  • A new window appears. Click on Image.

  • Click on Surf close From a file.

  • From the folders, select the image you like and Ito insert in the document. You will see that the newly selected image will now form the bullets.

  • Now, if you want to pick an image from the internet, you can use Bing search. Instead of clicking Browse from folder, use Bing image search.

  • Search the image on the Internet. Select the image you like. Click on To insert.

  • Wait for it to download and you are good to go.

This is what your document looks like.

If you don't want to use any images as a bullet, but don't want to use the default bullet, you can select a specific symbol.

  • For this, click Symbol.

  • Select the symbol of your preference. You can change the appearance of the symbol using the options provided in the drop-down menu in Fontana. When finished, click all right.

Just as you have options for changing how bullets appear, you also have options for changing numbering styles.

  • In Home card, you can detect Paragraph option. Click on drop-down icon next to the numbering option.

  • If you wish, you can choose any of the options indicated. Otherwise, click Define new number format number.

  • Choose the font, color, numbering format, size, etc. numbers. This way you can customize the numbering as you wish.

Finally, your document will look like this.

With this numbering option, you can choose any font you want to apply to numbers. This can be chosen regardless of the font, size, color or other specifics of the written sentences. There are also options in Advanced to resize, resize or position the numbering format in a custom way.
