Sometimes in Windows we connected speakers or headphones to a 3,5mm jack but we didn't get any sound. This error is quite annoying because sometimes we just want to enjoy the music on the speakers but this error does not allow to play the audio on the speakers.
But don't worry, we'll take care of it. Here are some methods that will fix the speaker and headphone problem.
Solution 1: uninstall the audio driver
STEP 1 - Right-click on windows and the Select button Device administrator.
STEP 2: it will open Device Manager locate the window Sound, Video and game controller.
STEP 3 - Select yours audio device (i.e. Realtek High Definition Audio) from the list and open Property give the menu answer.
PHASE 4 - Go to driver tab and click Uninstall.
Reboot your device after the process is complete. It will install the audio driver again and fix the problem. If this method didn't work for you, try updating your audio driver.
Solution 2: update the audio driver
The speaker / headphones issue may be due to outdated drivers on your computer. This problem can be solved by updating the audio drivers. To update your audio driver, follow these simple steps.
Repeat first three steps from the above method and then follow the steps below.
STEP 4 - In the file driver click the Update tab Driver button.
STEP 5 - Select Search my computer for driver software option.
STEP 6 - Select Let me choose from a list of device drivers on my computer option.
STEP 7: Select the device driver (i.e. High Definition Audio) and click Next. It will give you a warning about the driver update. Click Yes and the driver update will begin.
STEP 8 - Click Close after finishing the driver update.
After updating the audio drivers, you can enjoy the speakers / headphones on your computer.
