
Bluetooth is a great wireless technology that allows us to connect devices wirelessly to computers. But often Bluetooth devices like keyboard stop working without giving any error. Many of our users have reported that their Bluetooth wireless keyboards are not working in Windows 10, so we have found these solutions to get the Bluetooth wireless keyboards working again.
Note: You can also try a different USB port to make sure the problem isn't with your USB port. Also make sure Airplane Mode is disabled on your PC.
Method 1: check the batteries
The keyboard may not work because the keyboard batteries are low and need to be replaced. If you have extra batteries lying around, you can check if your keyboard is working or not.
Method 2: reinstall the Bluetooth drivers
Faulty drivers can also cause hardware malfunction. But it's easy to reinstall damaged or faulty drivers. Follow the steps below to reinstall the Bluetooth device drivers
Step 1. Press Windows and X at the same time and select Device administrator from the menu.
Step 2. Find your Bluetooth device and select uninstall the device in the context menu.
Step 3. Click on Uninstall to confirm. Do not select Delete the driver software for this device.
4 Phase. Restart your computer.
During the reboot process, the computer automatically installs the Bluetooth drivers again and will likely fix the problem. If not, try updating the Bluetooth drivers.
Method 4: Make sure Bluetooth support is on and working
1. Press Tasto Windows + R together to open RUN.
2. Write services.msc on it and click OK to open supervisor.
3. Locate Bluetooth support service , double click on it.
4. Now click Home if it is not running.
5. Choose also kind of start like Automatic in the drop-down menu.
6. Click OK and close it.
Method 5: using the control panel
1. Open Control Panel
2. Choose category da Seen from options.
2. Click View devices and printers
3. In the devices section, locate your file Bluetooth keyboard, right click on it and choose property.
4. Go to Services Tongue.
5. Select the option, Driver for keyboard, mouce, etc. (HIDDEN AWAY)
6. Click To apply and click ok.
Method 6: Make sure your device is discoverable
1. Press the Windows key + I simultaneously to open the settings.
2. Click devices.
3. Click Bluetooth and other devices from the left menu
4. Scroll down and click Other Bluetooth options.
5. Now, check the box that says Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC.
6. Select two other options related to alert.
7. Click To apply and click ok.
Method 5: update the Bluetooth drivers
Updating drivers is essential for the best hardware performance with Windows Update. If you have never updated your Bluetooth driver after Windows 10 update, this problem could be caused by this. If the Bluetooth device driver is faulty, you may see a yellow error icon on the Bluetooth device in Device Manager.
To update the Bluetooth device drivers: -
Step 1. Press Windows and X at the same time and select Device administrator from the menu.
2. Now, right click and update the driver. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Method 6: turn off power saver
Sometimes Windows automatically shuts down some processes and hardware to save battery life and increase computer performance. This can also cause the Bluetooth device to freeze suddenly. You need to turn off the power saver for that device to get rid of this problem. Follow these steps to do the same.
Step 1. print windows e X at the same time and select Device administrator.
Step 2. Find your Bluetooth device and select property in the context menu.
Step 3. In Energy management tab, uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save energy. Click OK.
This method will turn off the power saving on the Bluetooth device and will not turn off Bluetooth again automatically.
