Sometimes, when trying to print a document, a printer offline message appears. Although both the PC and the printer are in the online state, this error message appears on the computer and irritates you. Here in this article I have collected the best possible solutions for the offline printer problem.

Solution 1: repair the printer offline

Step 1: Search Control Panel in the search on the taskbar and click on it to go to control panel

Step 2: Click view devices and printers

Step 3: Now right click on the printer icon and select the option that says set as Default Printer.

Step 4 - Now, right click again and click see what is printed.

Step 4: Now click on printer tab at the top.

Step 5: Now make sure deselect the option saying use the printer offline.

If it is not already selected, continue with the next method below.

Solution 2: Restart the spooler service

Step 1: Press key Windows + r It's open run Command box.

Step 2: Now write services.msc in the text field and hit enter.

Step 3 - Now, find print spooler directory service.

Step 4: Click on it and select it. Now look left near the upper right corner. Click on start the service.

Note: - If the service is already running, click restart the service.

Solution 3: add a new printer

Step 1: Now go back to Control Panel -> View devices and printers and right-click on the printer.

Step 2: Now click on printer properties.

Step 3: Click Port language. Now click add port.

Step 4: Now select TCP / IP standard port and click New Port.

Step 5: Now, type the IP address of the printer you want to add in the fields. If you do not know the IP of the printer, you can visit the website of the manufacturer of the printer company to find the IP of the printer.

Try this method and see if it works. If that doesn't work, let's move on to the next method.

Solution 4: update the printer driver

Step 1: Right-click on the Start menu and click on Device Manager to open Device Manager.

Step 2: Now, expand the print queues and right click and update the printer driver.

Solution 5: Run the Windows 10 printer troubleshooter

Step 1: Download Windows 10 Printer Troubleshooting

Step 2: Follow the instructions in the troubleshooting window.

It will attempt to repair and troubleshoot the printer.

Hope these solutions fix offline printer issues on Windows 10 PC.
