How to create a partition in Windows 10

Step 1 - Research IT management in the search box on the taskbar

Step 2 - Now, look in the left menu and in the archive, they are there disk management. Just click Disk management. wait a few seconds for the disc details to load.

Now, right click on the required drive you want to partition. For example, if you want to create a partition on local disk C, right click on it. Now click Turn down the volume.

3 pass - Now, a message will appear saying Querying space. After that, the next screen will show you 3 details.

In the first fields the total size is written before reducing. (This is the current size of the local disk)

In the second field, enter the size of the available shrink space in MB. This is the maximum hard drive size that can be created outside the hard drive.

Note that these details are in MB. To get an idea in GB, divide by 1000.

Now, the third and most important field is your decision field, where you have to enter the size of the disk you really want, taking into account the maximum limit in the second field.

4 pass - Now when you have decided the size of the hard drive you want to create, click on shrinkage button. Wait a few minutes. Refrain from any activity while in the middle of this operation.

5 pass - Now the size specified in step 4 only creates unallocated space on the PC. You have to create a hard drive from it and name it too.
Now once the unallocated space appears as shown above, right click on it and click New single volume.

Now a new sample volume wizard will open.

6 pass - Now, on the next screen, specify the size of the hard drive. Click Next.

7 pass - On the next screen, choose the drive letter you want to name. You can choose any letter.

8 pass - Choose the file system on the next screen. NTFS is recommended, although FAT32 can also be selected if desired. Also, edit New Volume and name it as desired.

9 pass - Finally, on the next screen, click Finish to finish the creation process.

After clicking Finish, it will take a few minutes to complete the process.
