There is a lot of talk on the net about Windows 11, Microsoft's operating system that almost all leakers report its presentation in the official event to be held on 24nd June.
In the meantime, images are circulating on the web showing a user who has already installed the next Microsoft OS on a Lumia 950 XL, the latest smartphone from the Redmond company that marked the abandonment of the market Windows 10 Mobile.
Smartphones in the past Lumia Microsoft products lent themselves to the installation of Desktop operating systems but, of course, standard Windows 10 is not like Windows 10 Mobile. The first is designed to be used easily with keyboard and mouse while the second with the fingers.
This time to transport Windows 11 the work was "easier". Microsoft has always provided builds (some prototypes) of its operating systems and for some time now it has developed some compatible with ARM processors. One of these ended up on the net in an unofficial way and it is the one that the user has edited to run it in some way on Lumia 950 XL.

There are neither instructions nor feedback on what works and what doesn't, so at the moment there is no chance to try your hand at the work if some user is curious to try Windows 11 on Lumia 950 XL which has long been inside a drawer. Obviously we do not recommend trying your hand at it regardless, even with older builds based on Windows 10.
The new Windows 11 will be presented in a few days and who knows what would have happened if Microsoft had still believed in the project on Mobile.
