Some Windows 10 users report a problem they encounter while installing the .NET Framework 3.5 on their computers. The installation fails on your computers, indicating an error message that says: "Windows could not complete the requested changes". If you have the same problem on your computer, don't worry. This problem may occur due to some corrupt files on your computer. Try these simple solutions on your computer to fix the problem. But, first, don't forget to follow these solutions to fix your problem with minimal effort.



Alternative solutions-

1. Proof reboot computer and check the computer's Internet connection. After rebooting, try installing the feature again.

2. Make sure Windows is up to date. If there are any pending Windows updates, install the update and after installing the update restart your computer and try to install the feature again.

If any of these initial solutions didn't work for you, look for these solutions:

Fix-1 Abilita .NET Framework 3.5-

1. Now press Tasto Windows + R have lunch Run and write "optional features“And press Enter.

Windows Features window will open.

2. Now, in the Windows function window, click on ".NET Framework 3.5 (include .NET 2.0 e 3.0)"And then click"all right".

3. Windows will download the .NET Framework to your computer and install it. Take up again computer to save the changes.

If you still get the same message, find the next solution.

Fix-2 Clean boot of the computer

1. Press Windows key and write "System configuration".


2. In the search result, click "System configuration".


3. Click on 'general"Tab and then" deselect the box next to "Load startup items".

4. Next, make sure that the "Charging system services" is checked.

5. Now click on "Services“tab.

6. After that, take a look at the "Hide all Microsoft services"And then click"Disable everything".

7. Finally, click on "Request"And then inside"all right“It will save the changes on your computer.

Restart your computer will boot in clean mode.

Also, install the .NET Framework on your computer. If you still have errors, find the next solution.

Fix 3 Use the registry editor

1. Press the key Windows key and the 'R' key. This will open the Run terminal.

2. Write "regedit"In the Run window and then click"all right".

NOTE: -

In the Registry Editor window, click "archive"And then you have to click"Export". Save the exported log in a favorable location of your choice for backup.

If something goes wrong, just "Import" into the original file. Directory disk.

2. Now, in the left pane of the log window, go to this location:

Discover the "UsaWUServer"In the right panel of"AU". Double click In that.


[If you don’t find “UseWUServer” on the right pane, right click on the empty space, and then click on “New>DWORD (32-bit) Value“. Rename the value as “UseWUServer".]


3. Now change the value data to "0"And then click"all right”To save the changes on your computer.

Restart your computer.

After rebooting, try installing the feature on your computer.

Fix-5 Install .NET Framework from Windows 10 installation media-

[NOTES– For trying this fix on your device, you need a bootable installation media (or the Windows 10 DVD from which you had installed Windows 10). If you don’t have one, you have to create a bootable installation media. After you have created the bootable installation media for your device, go ahead for this  fix.]

1. Press Windows key + E open File Navigator.

Go to Local disk (C 🙂 and create a folder called "Temperature".

2. Mount the bootable installation media (or Windows 10 installation DVD).


3. Now, find the installation disc and copy the "SxSFile “.

Four. Paste the folder in Temperature from the C drive you created some time ago.

5. Press Tasto Windows + R have lunch Run and write "Shell power" Yup Ctrl + Shift + Enter. Shell Power will open with Administrative Rights.

Fix- 6 Use .NET Framework Repair Tool-

1. Download the .NET Framework Repair Tool.

2. Now, double click in "netfxrepairtoolAnd accept the deal.

3. It will detect any kind of problem with the .NET Framework.

4. Now click on "Next”To make the changes on your computer.

Restart your computer.

The problem with installing the .NET Framework should be resolved.

Fix-7 Use Local Group Policy Editor

[NOTES–  This fix will not work on Windows 10 HOME. This fix will only work for you if you are using a Windows 10 PRO]

1. Press Tasto Windows + R have lunch Run, and write "gpedit.msc“And hit Pay in.

2. Now, in the left pane, go to this location:

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System

Now double click in "Specify the settings for installing and repairing optional components".

3. Now click on "activated"And click"Request"Y"all right".

Restart your computer.

After rebooting, you should be able to install .NET Framework on your computer without further errors.

Fix-8 Try the Windows 10 Update Troubleshooter-

1. Press Tasto Windows + S and then write "Troubleshoot configuration issues".

2. Click on 'Troubleshoot configuration issues".

3. Now, on the right side of your Settings window, scroll down to find Get Started. Click on "Windows update".

4. Then click on "Run the troubleshooter".

3. Follow the onscreen instructions and let the Windows Update Troubleshooter complete the process.

Restart your computer.

After restarting your computer, try to install the .NET Framework again.

Fix-9 Usa .NET Framework Cleanup Tool-

If any of these above mentioned solutions didn't work for you, you can try this .NET Framework cleanup tool.

1. Download .NET Framework Cleanup Tool. A zip file will be downloaded. Extract the folder to a favorable location.

2. Double click in "cleaning_tool“To run the application.

3. In the .NET Framework Configuration Cleanup Utility window, click "Clean up now".

Wait a moment until all versions of the .NET Framework are removed from your computer.

Now install the specific version of the .NET Framework on your computer. You should be able to install the .NET Framework without further errors.
